Scott

Scott is a teacher in Saratoga Springs who has been spending his summers on Lake George for over 30 years. In addition to his love of the history and folklore of the area, Scott also enjoys all types of adventure that the lake has to offer. To this day, he partakes in swimming, cliff jumping, wakeboarding, tubing, snorkeling, kayaking and hiking in the area. All of that is balanced, of course, by also relaxing at some of the quieter coves and lesser travelled bays that the lake has to offer. Scott tells us that his favorite part about Lake George is all the wonderful family memories that have been made here over the years – memories he is now making with his own children. He looks forward to helping you make some lasting memories during your time with him on the lake.

Joe

I grew up spending summers boating, camping and listening to the rich history and endless ghost stories about Lake George. I spent the last ten years traveling and exploring the world. Over the last six years I’ve worked to create a career on the water. I have my U.S. Coast Guard issued 100-ton license. When I’m not in Lake George for the summer, I live in the Bahamas and work on a scuba diving boat.

Steve lives on the south end of the lake and knows the lake backwards and forwards. He has a passion for all sorts of lake activities, including motor boating, sailing, fishing and waterskiing. He also volunteers as a trail steward for the Pilot Knob preserve and can share lots of stories of camping and hiking in the surrounding areas. Katie

I am a teacher in the Malta, NY area. I have grown up camping and boating on Lake George. I love the Islands in the "Narrows" (About halfway up the lake from the village) . It's my favorite part of the lake. Most of our tour groups find they enjoy the Islands as well. It's where we take families cliff jumping and it's also where the candy and ice cream store is located on the lake.

I have spent several years traveling the world teaching young children how to speak English. I have spent time in both South America and Europe. I can safely say Lake George is one of the prettiest lakes in the world. Come visit us. I would love to take you on a tour.

Dave

Dave is a retired businessman, owning several businesses over the years in the Saratoga area.

Mike

Mike is a retired businessman, who also happens to play in a local band! Mike's parents, grandparents, and cousin all owned boats so Mike has been a water bug his entire life. He has owned his own boat since 1995 and loves sharing his knowledge of the Lake.

So get ready for some great stories and possibly some entertainment on your tour with Capt'n Mike.

You're guaranteed to have a great time.

Megan

I grew up on a small lake in Maine, and truly enjoyed everything about Lake Life. Over the last ten plus years I have traveled a bit. I've spent a lot of that time between Hawaii and the Caribbean. I have my 200-ton Captains license and have piloted 120-ft scuba diving boats on the ocean. Clearly having a love of the water, I worked on a career that would always keep me on it, and in the most beautiful places! Lake George is a special kind of Lake Life. I have some great stories to share with you. I hope you'll enjoy your tour as much as I will.
